Art means so much more to me than the average person. As a child I have always loved art whether it was in art class, doodling on papers and in notebooks (Don’t do that, PAY ATTENTION in class!!) or always wanting to take pictures with my mom’s camera. Art is an escape to me and a way out to all things negative and gives me the opportunity to express myself in a way that is different than anyone else’s.
One of my biggest influences and inspiration is my family. They always support me in everything I do and they always encourage me to never give up. My grandma can see the good in any situation and she especially inspires me to try and do the same.
All of the skills I have learned throughout the year in both my photography class and my painting and drawing class, I am excited to keep using throughout my life to create the most interesting and unpredictable work I can. I can already tell, when I take a picture I try to make it visually interesting. All of my work from this year, though the project may have been the same, it is different than everyone else’s in my class. Within the artistic style of a person, you can learn so much about them and how they view things, and I hope you can understand me better through my work in my portfolio.
